Young Engineers Harford County – Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators Young Engineers Harford County is proud to bring award-winning STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) enrichment programs to children ages 4–18 throughout Harford County and surrounding areas. As part of the international Young Engineers network operating in more than 50 countries, our mission is to make learning fun, engaging, and impactful by combining play with real-world problem-solving. We specialize in hands-on learning experiences that introduce children to engineering principles, robotics, coding, and scientific exploration through interactive activities and unique, curriculum-based programs.
Our students don’t just learn theories from textbooks—they build, create, and experiment in ways that spark curiosity and foster confidence. Our Programs Young Engineers Harford County offers a variety of structured programs tailored to different age groups and skill levels:

• Galileo Technic (Ages 7–9): A deeper dive into advanced engineering and physics, encouraging critical thinking, teamwork, and innovation.
• Smartivo (Ages 4–6): Early childhood programs that introduce logic, sequencing, and the foundations of coding through tangible play and digital applications.
• AlgoPlay & RoboToys (Ages 8–12): Students bring LEGO® models to life with robotics, sensors, and basic programming.
• Specialized Workshops & Camps: Themed experiences such as robotics competitions, STEM summer camps, afterschool clubs, homeschool programs, and scout workshops.
How We Teach
Our curriculum is built on the EDUTAINMENT philosophy—where education meets entertainment. Every session combines storytelling, building, and experimentation to help children grasp complex concepts in an exciting and relatable way. Children not only understand how things work, but also why, preparing them for a future driven by technology and innovation.
