Hello! After thinking back to yesterday’s school closing (Harford County Public Schools), I’m interested in finding out what different local families do for childcare during inclement weather days. I feel very fortunate to work from home and to have the flexibility when my children need to stay home from school, whatever the reason may be.
However, this is not the typical circumstance for working parents, so what other options are out there? I’d love to create a resource for people to refer back to as necessary. I’ve included my email address at the bottom of this note if you’d like to share anything you know about!
Speaking of resources, I recently created two local maps: one with free resources in the area, and the other of residential holiday light displays in Harford County. Someone showed me how to create personalized maps on Google, and it’s such a cool feature! My hope is that this will help others save time in their search.
