Introduction: The Power of Goal-Setting
I believe every young person has the ability to dream boldly, but sometimes they just need the tools and encouragement to bring those dreams into focus. Goal-setting and visualization are powerful—when kids can clearly see what they want for their future, it suddenly feels within reach. That’s why I created the Share the Vision Initiative.
What is Share the Vision?
Share the Vision is a program I designed to bring vision board workshops into schools, youth groups, and sports teams. These sessions blend creativity, self-reflection, and social-emotional learning, guiding kids to think about who they are, what they want, and how they can take intentional steps toward those goals.
It’s more than just cutting and pasting pictures. Each student walks away with a tangible reminder of their dreams—and the confidence to start moving toward them.
What inspired you to develop these workshops?
As a growth strategist, entrepreneur, and mom, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is to put your vision on paper. Vision boards have played a big role in shaping my own businesses and life.
I wanted to give students that same experience. I remember how overwhelming it felt as a teen to figure out “what’s next.” If I can give kids a tool that makes them feel more hopeful and confident about their future, then I know I’m making a difference.
Who can participate in Share the Vision?
These workshops are for all ages and can be tailored to many different settings.
- At Edgewood High School’s Academy of Finance, students created boards to help them think about college, careers, and their personal growth.
- At the Boys & Girls Club, kids explored positive choices and imagined new opportunities.
- At the Immanuel Quickley Basketball Camp at John Carroll School in Bel Air, athletes connected the dedication they bring to the court with the discipline needed to shape their futures off the court.
- At Lennox Lewis’ League of Champions Boxing Camp in Jamaica, young athletes discovered how vision boards could help them dream beyond the ring—about their education, leadership, and life goals outside of sports.
The feedback has been incredible. Teachers and coaches tell me their students walk away more motivated, and kids themselves have said things like, “This was the first time I really thought about what I want my life to look like—and it feels possible now.”
What do you envision for the future of this program?
My vision is to reach at least 1,500 kids every year—and to raise enough funding so that every single event can be covered, ensuring no child is left out because of cost.
We’ve already proven that Share the Vision works on both a local and global level. Taking the program to the Lennox Lewis League of Champions Camp in Jamaica showed me that this tool is universal—and that kids everywhere are hungry for hope, direction, and inspiration.
Here’s where I’m headed next:
- Scale for sustained impact: Continue building out a yearly calendar of school, sports, and community workshops to reach 1,500+ students annually.
- Raise ambitious funding: For 2025, my goal is to raise $50,000 to cover supplies, facilitation, and growth, so every event can be accessible at no cost to participants.
- Expand our reach: Return to Jamaica next year and branch into other states and countries, making Share the Vision a global movement.
- Build a sustainable model: Through our “Buy One, Give One” structure, every paid event fuels a free one in the community, keeping the program equitable and scalable.
- Strengthen partnerships: Work alongside schools, nonprofits, and businesses to integrate Share the Vision into more youth programs year-round.
Ultimately, I see Share the Vision becoming a recognized movement in youth empowerment—helping kids everywhere believe in their potential and act boldly toward it.
How can people get in touch about a workshop?
If you’re a parent, educator, or community leader who wants to bring Share the Vision to your group, I’d love to connect. Workshops can be adapted for classrooms, after-school programs, sports teams, or youth groups.

Closing Thought
Dreaming big is just the first step—but it’s the one that changes everything. Through Share the Vision, I want to give every student the chance to see their future clearly and take bold steps toward making it real.
